Our research focuses on soybean molecular genetics. Primary interests include the genetic basis of natural and induced variation in soybean, and using genomic strategies for trait improvement.
U of MN soybean variety M06-297013, ‘MinnGold’, approved for released in 2014 and available to growers in 2015. It is a late maturity soybean (group 0, 0.8) with yellow leaves (chlorophyll deficient). It may be used as a ‘marker’ or border in research fields, breeding nurseries, or as an ornamental soybean.
